Practicing and Uncharted 2

Tue Oct 20, 2009, 5:38 AM
G'mornin!

I've finally been uploading some work lately.

It's not the stuff that I want to be posting but it's definitely a lot better than the nothing I was uploading before, n'yes?

Motsly just practicing with colouring on my good ol' tablet and getting back into sketching and such. I'm sort of experimenting with different colouring techniques. I figure my drawing style is pretty much locked down but I can't get fixed on colouring.

I like the more refined look as opposed to the rough kind in a couple of things I uploaded last week. The thing is that the more complete and refined look takes me longer to do.

Maybe I'll get faster the more I do it, who knows.

I just finished playing Uncharted 2 the other night. F$@#ing shizno, people!! Anyone who has not played this game is seriously missing out!

This is the first time I've WANTED an exclusive PS game to be made available for other consoles so that everyone can feel what I feel when I play this game.

Let's check the numbers:

VISUAL: aMAZing as always = 100%

VOICES: nothing but professionals = 100%

SCRIPT: smart and hilarious = 100%

CHARACTERS: all rock, you actually care about what happens to them and you miss them, like emotionally, when they're not there = 100%

SOUND EFFECTS: suits setting/action perfectly = 100%

GAMEPLAY: intuitive, fun, much longer and with many more attack options than #1. Although controlling Nate can still get kind of jerky = 95%

STORY: super-in-depth and entertaining with incredible and engaging plot lines = 100%

AI INTELLIGENCE: much more advanced. They can track you if they spot you and if they don't you can try to sneak as close as possible to TRY a knock-out attack WITHOUT being noticed by the others = 100%

.... I'm trying to think of other areas to rate the game in, but that's all I got at the moment.

OVERALL RATING: 100% !!!!!!!!!!! Whoo!

Yeah, I know I only gave 95% for gameplay, but Nate being jerky is well compensated by the fact that this game is pure awesomeness.

UNCHARTED 2: AMONG THEIVES IS THE MOTHER OF ALL GAMES!

...

<.<

>.>

Ahem.

Anyway, that's what I'm doing at the mo. Hope everyone's cool!

I'm glad part of your artistic interest revolves around the appreciation of the masculine physique. I'm flattered.

Also keep up the nice work. I like your approach of architectural photography. :)
